Star Wars: Episode X continues the epic saga set in a galaxy far, far away, picking up several years after the events of Episode IX. The New Republic has been rebuilt under the guidance of Rey Skywalker, who is now a respected Jedi Master leading a new generation of Force-sensitive students. Peace appears to have returned to the galaxy, but in the shadows, a mysterious threat begins to emerge from the Unknown Regions.
A strange signal disrupts the tranquility of the Republic, pointing to an ancient Sith world thought to be long destroyed. Rey, along with Finn—who is now a Jedi Knight—and a reluctant Poe Dameron, set out on a mission to investigate the source of the signal. Along their journey, they encounter new allies, including a powerful young warrior named Kael who has a mysterious connection to the Force, but is unsure whether to follow the light or the dark side.

Meanwhile, a dark figure known only as Darth Revnor rises in the Outer Rim. A former Jedi believed to have been killed during the war against the First Order, Revnor has returned, driven by a new philosophy that seeks to balance the Force by embracing both light and dark. His followers, known as the “Gray Legion,” begin to spread their influence across several systems, creating instability within the Republic.

As the threat grows, Rey must confront her own inner doubts and the legacy of the Jedi. The film delves deeper into the nature of the Force, questioning whether the old Jedi and Sith dichotomy is still relevant. Rey’s struggle becomes personal when she discovers that Darth Revnor was once a Padawan of Luke Skywalker who vanished after falling to his inner conflicts. This revelation forces her to face the darker parts of her own lineage.
The climax of the film leads to a massive confrontation on the ancient Sith world, where Rey and Revnor engage in a fierce duel not just of lightsabers, but of ideologies. In the end, it is Kael who makes the decisive choice, rejecting both extremes and forging a new path for the Force—one that embraces balance and understanding over conflict. His decision brings a new hope to the galaxy.
