CREED 4 Trailer 3 (2025)

The Creed series follows Adonis “Donnie” Creed, son of Apollo Creed, as he carves out his own path in boxing while struggling with identity, legacy, and personal relationships. Creed I and II showed Adonis trying to honor his father’s legacy, fight high‑stakes opponents, and deal with family issues; Creed III deepened that, as Donnie faced Damian Anderson, a childhood friend turned rival, and also came to terms with loss, guilt, success, and mentorship.

As Creed 4 is in development, producer Irwin Winkler has confirmed that Michael B. Jordan will return not only as the star but also as director.  The team has said they “have a really good story, a good plot” and are planning to move into pre‑production in coming periods.

Creed 4 Has The Perfect Boxer For A Real Drago Fight

Though plot specifics are scarce, many expect the next film to shift focus somewhat: moving beyond Donnie’s own struggles toward the next generation, particularly his daughter Amara. In Creed III’s ending, there’s a suggestive moment in the ring with Amara, showing that she may follow in her father’s footsteps. It seems likely Creed 4 will explore the tension between Donnie’s life as a boxer or mentor, the demands of family (including Bianca, his wife), and balancing the legacy and responsibilities that come with the Creed name.

Another anticipated thread is how Donnie will respond to new challenges—whether rivals in the ring, controversies, or threats to his physical or moral integrity. Given the pattern of the earlier films, there may well be a moment where Donnie must decide whether to come back into the ring (if he has stepped back), or whether he acts more as coach or trainer. The idea of a passing of the torch is strong: either Amara emerging as a boxer, or Donnie mentoring a protégé.

Michael B. Jordan's Creed 4 Returns Means The Franchise Can Do The One Thing Rocky Failed To

There’s also speculation about who the opposing force will be: a new fighter, possibly someone younger, hungrier, or someone representing a shift in the sport (perhaps more modern style, showmanship, etc.). It remains unclear whether former adversaries will return. Also, given how Creed III ended, issues around Donnie’s identity, his past, and personal losses might continue to inform his motivations and trajectory.

In short, Creed 4 promises to carry forward the franchise’s emphasis on legacy, family, struggle, and personal growth. While the precise plot remains under wraps, we can expect Donnie Creed to face both internal and external conflicts—as always, balancing the pain and sacrifice demanded by the ring with the love, responsibility, and hope found in his family. The next installment will likely expand the world not just through punching and titles, but through what it means to inherit—and redefine—a legacy.
